Costa Rica 2022 - The Grand Finale

It was our last day in Costa Rica (sniff, sniff) so we had to make it EPIC! We stayed in Playa Grande which was our favorite spot and rented boards to surf. Everyone in Costa Rica are so nice and welcoming. Pura Vida was felt the whole trip and we really lived that up on our last day.

It was super low tide and there were all of these crazy lines in the sand. I am not sure if they are from crabs or turtles? The beach closes overnight because the turtles lay eggs here.

Now I truly understand what the silver lining is and it is beautiful.

This kid stood up by himself for the first time in Costa Rica. It doesn't get much better than that.

Literally, everyone surfed well! 

The path home... On our way out we saw more monkeys! Perfect way to end the trip.

We have been fortunate enough to have gone on a lot of amazing vacations but there was something really special about this one. I don't know if it was because we all really needed a break from the grind and were able to unplug or if the kids were the perfect ages or if Costa Rica is just a magical place but this trip changed us. We spent 10 days together in utter bliss and we are still mourning for Costa Rica more than a week later! I will be forever thankful for our time together - the adventures, the smiles, the laughs, the beauty, and the love. Now... where should we go next?!
