Emmy turned 17!!
Ryan's baseball team has been fundraising and preparing to play in Cooperstown for years before he even joined the team. This week-long tournament was our summer family vacation - and it was SO FUN! First off Ryan's team and their families are the best so it really was like vacationing with 40 people, All Star village far exceeded all of our expectations, Emmy made fast friends with 6 other teenagers and the Tacos won 10 games in a row to make it to the championship game! It was a magical week, one of the top things we've done as a family. Tacos played a national team, meaning they were pulled together from different place just to go and win. The tacos are a mom and pop team who have played together for years and were the Cinderella story of the week. To hear crowds of people cheer "SD Tacos" during the chamionship game was one of the coolest things ever. They fell short - lost 3-7, but they battled, and Ryan hit a home run in that game to total 5 of the week. What an epic week!
