Believe it or not, the summer is flying by. We have our good days and our more challenging days. Its has definitely been a lazier summer than the kids are used too. Although, I always felt like they never got a chance to relax in past years... Emmy and Ryan went to their first week of summer camp. I was really nervous but after they came home with huge smiles and were dirty and exhausted, I was so glad they went. Mr. A's camp is a neighborhood camp run by 2 teachers who followed all safety protocols and the kids had a blast. Working from home with just Owen is definitely easier than having them all home. He's been really good, such a trooper. I think he's really missing kids his own age and age appropriate activities.
We are still trying to get down to the beach. It's been a really gloomy summer so when the sun is out it gets a bit crowded.
I love our neighborhood
Always trying to keep this kid entertained!
My co-workers these days. Owen next to me and Sadie under the table
Me and Owen had a special date at the zoo! Again, I was a little nervous at first but felt more safe there than at the beach some days!
It was so fun to have some 1:1 time with my little guy :)
This dog...
These three...
Ryan and Reese are like two peas in a pod these days. Always biking and skateboarding. It's been nice to have good friends close. It is going to be equally as helpful once school starts because we are hoping then can get in the same class again.
The Conklins came over one day to tie dye! I was a little aggressive with the number of things I bought to die, we went through 3 boxes of tie dye kits!
And of course the oldest girls were the dirtiest after they somehow stepped in it?!
You can barely see it but Owen has his pretend phone out and is doing yoga like mommy :)
Ta da!
I decided Sadie needed a field trip too so we took her to the bay!
Emmy has a year book signing with her friends
Ryan learned how to play solitaire
Those are our days in a nutshell! Josh and I have been CRAZY busy at work so some days it feels like we are never going to make it through. And we do. And then we wake up and do it all over again.
