Since we couldn't have a traditional birthday party this year, and I feel like Ryan tends to get the shaft, I tried to plan a few special afternoons to celebrate our special dude turning 8! Reese and Riley came over the afternoon before his bday and we played on the slip and slide and mini pools. They hung out and stayed for dinner. Reese and Ryan are such buddies, almost like brother and sister. They were even wrestling on the trampoline. I just love it!
For his actual bday, I took the day off of work, which has always been my tradition :) We picked up William, Audrey, Alex and Luci and went to the beach. Ryan's new favorite spot is up in Del Mar and we love it too because its been super quiet.
It was a few busy days but I hope he felt as special as we think he is! In fact he's so special we went on our first RV trip to round out his bday week. More details on that adventure to come....
