Truckee!!

We had an amazing weekend in Truckee last weekend with Josh's parents and Zach and Amy. We hadn't been back in so long, probably 10 years?! Josh was there for work all last week so we met them up there. I somehow managed to work, take care of Owen (who had his 3rd ear infection and 103.4 fever), deal with Sadie, pack and actually keep the kids alive all by myself. And that didn't include flying with the 3 of them solo while taking 2 planes to get up there. I woke up Friday morning ready to conquer the world, I now feel like I can do anything!

The kids were awesome little travelers and it was so nice to get away and enjoy some good, cold mountain air. We stayed at Josh's friends house, which was AMAZING! I seriously didn't want to leave. It was beautiful, comfortable and perfect for all 11 of us :) We played in the snow, hang around the house playing games, went ice skating and just relaxed. It was just what I needed, I just wish we were able to stay longer.

Ready to roll 15 minutes EARLY!

Step 1 - we made it to the airport!

And onto plane #1

On our way to plane #2!

WE MADE IT!! :)

We were so lucky they got snow the night before we arrived

Hot tubbing!

These crazy kids were jumping in the snow!

This guy took some killer naps next to the fire place, which is so unlike him. We either need to move to the mountain or put a fireplace in our bedroom ;)

Pool! This place was so FUN

A late xmas :)

SNOW!

The other "Lawrences" :)

Josh, always with a beer in hand

Snuggling at Northstar before we hit the ice

So much fun ice skating

Ryan was doing so good! And then he fell. But got right back up again :)

They even had a band!

He even fell asleep in the cold!

I think even Owen fell in love with the house

Not to shabby....

He lasted outside for about 15 minutes. In his defense, he couldn't move. haha

Learning to snowboard on a snow board.

The grandkids!

Our house.

Last night sleeping next to the fire

It wouldn't be a trip to the snow if Josh wasn't out in a t-shirt. Ha!
