Christmas 2017

We had an extra special Christmas this year. Not just because it was Owen's first, or that we were able to celebrate with some family but because we all shared in something special. The gift that kept on giving. A gift that was felt by all. THE STOMACH FLU. Oh yes, it blew through our house like wild fire. First me and Ryan, then Josh. We thought we were in the clear until about 4p on Christmas day when it hit Jules, the my mom and then my dad. Tis the season!

This was the first year I haven't spent Christmas with my brother. It was hard, we missed him so much! But he sure did dodge a bullet this year but not getting the flu. I can't imagine if he and Kristen were here too and we all had to share 2 bathrooms...

At least we were all able to enjoy Christmas Eve and Christmas day together :)

a little gingerbread house decorating

Traditional Christmas Eve cookie making!

Ryan the master chess player

I finished this bad boy in the nick of time. Literally. I never want to see another piece of felt again.

Now they all have one!

Someone was just a little excited :)

Owie. Always melting my heart.

Matching ear muffs (OMG do I look like I need a cup of coffee)

CHAOS!

A new BIG boy bike

Every time Marc called Ryan grabbed the phone to run and hide. He wanted to talk privately. I would listen to them talk about what football games were on. It was the cutest thing ever.

Dinner sans Julie....

Cracker time

And that is a wrap! Owie's first xmas :)
