Oh my Owie - I don't know what I'd do without him in my life right now. He is so full of personality and love! It hit me this morning that he will be 4 in about 2 months (sniff, sniff) so I am holding onto every single snuggle I can these days!!! For about the last year, he's been crawling in our bed in the middle of the night. He grabs the extra pillow from the ground, whacks me in the head with it and then crawls over me with his bubbie and Lemur and falls asleep. Last week he stopped doing it and I asked why and he said "daddy told me I need to stay in my bed". (Sorry Josh) but I told him he can climb in our bed for as long as he wants, The next night he came running in at 1a and yelled "I am here for you!" and hopped into snuggle. It is the BEST. I just want to hold onto this age/stage forever. A few other things this sweet kid is doing:
- He uses the word "from" instead of because "I put on my jacket from I was cold"
- He likes wearing beanies but calls them "Be-geanies"
- He insists on brushing his own teeth. He hoists himself up to the sink and counts as he brushes the teeth around his mouth. I should really be helping him but he really is doing a damn good job!
- He calls Ryan "dude" all the time. "DUDE its my turn"
- He will randomly say "I love you mommy. I love you all the time" and it absolutely melts my heart
Jen - Just in the last few weeks, the photos of Owen show that he is a little boy now instead of a toddler. I think he looks like Marc. Ferne and Owen could be siblings! So sweet to see how he loved being with her.
