Thanksgiving 2020

Thanksgiving was pretty uneventful this year, as it was for everyone I guess. We decided to stay home and celebrate just the five of us. We of course still cooked at 24 pound turkey and polished it off before the weekend was over :) We played social distance baseball one day and took a few hikes. All and all it was pretty quiet but I think we all enjoyed some time off of work and school!

Ryan has his last baseball practice on his Viking team. This was the backdrop - the sunsetting in La Jolla. Not too shabby!

I am always trying to find ways to get them away from screens and outside! I think the hardest part of all of this is no recess for the kids. they are inside all day behind a computer :(

I think Sadie is in heaven with us all home. She is getting a lot of snuggles

The actually took a nap!

Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours :)

It doesn't matter what time he goes to bed - Ryan wakes up every morning at 6:30a on the dot and watches You Tube videos until we wake up. On Thanksgiving it was up by 6a and made this sign!

Dessert! After facetiming with Dan and Julie we learned that Dan also likes to eat whip cream from the can and now we call it woozy, woozy

He is dying to be like the big kids

We found a hike behind the high school. Let's say it wasn't the most scenic

We decided to get a tree early this year :)

I upped my game for the second hike and we headed to Cabrillo Monument in Point Loma. It was BEAUTIFUL! I love where we live
