Merry Christmas!

Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas this year!  I know we sure did!  We spent Christmas at Westlake with my parents, celebrating with all the traditions we've always had.  Mom did an amazing job decorating, cooking and getting Christmas ready!  Emmy was constantly entertained by everyone (especially Uncle Marc) and I had plenty of people to help get Ryan to sleep since that is pretty much a hobby of mine now.  It was great to spend time with all the family since it doesn't happen too often anymore.  I can't believe how quickly the holidays have gone by!  Almost the start of a new year....

Thank you to my family for all your help with the kiddos this week and for your patience with me who hasn't had much sleep these days.  All I wanted for Christmas was a nap and you all made it happen :)

Making gingerbread houses (well graham cracker houses).  Josh and Julie were really the masterminds behind them, Emmy just ate the candy :)

A little Papa time

Hanging with Uncle Marc

We started feeding the chunker rice cereal.  I was hesitant at first since he is still so young and given his current "healthy" size but the doctor suggested it.  I will have a whole other post dedicated to his eating.  As you can imagine, we haven't had any issues other than having to watch he doesn't eat too much.

Christmas morning.  Someone was a little excited!!

Up to their same old antics.  Just being weird and crazy!

Couldn't be any cuter if they tried.

Finally a good family pic!

Cool dude with his Auntie Julie

A little Canadian, family tradition.  He wasn't too amused!

Emmy helped Marc build fires all week.  Oh and eat lots of candy that they both kept sneaking... I caught Emmy singing a song about how much she loved candy and Uncle Marc.

Marc bought him this onesie so they'd have the same shirt!
