I have had the last week off of work and it has been amazing. Being able to spend every day with Emmy, actually having some time to get things done around the house and to have a few moments alone while Emmy napped has made this week the greatest ever. If only I could have those days more often.... It is going to be very hard to leave Emmy tomorrow, it makes me tear up just thinking about it. Back to the grind, ugh :(
Our Week:
We looked after Finn one day and had so much fun! I have to admit I was a little nervous to look after the 2 of them all day since it was raining out but they were so good!
Emmy and I went to the Children's Contemporary Museum, it was awesome! The museum itself was very cool with some cool artwork and there were different areas for the kids to do crafts, explore, etc.
Josh was able to squeeze away from work and we went to Sea World! I have been dying to take Emmy and it was more fun than I had anticipated. She loved the dolphins and penguins but the best was Sesame Street land! They had characters there for her to meet, I don't know who was more excited her or me :) But I couldn't believe it, she was scared of them, even Elmo! Although, she has talked about hugging Zoe ever since, I think she was bummed that she didn't. Thanks to my aunts and uncles (John, Karen, Sam and Therea) we are going to be able to get a pass so we can go as often as we'd like - thank you!!
Watching the dolphin show
I had a death grip on her or I swear she was going to jump in!
A scene straight out of happy feet
Yes, she now eats apples all by herself :)
Jen - I am just catching up on your blog after MONTHS! Ugh, this 2 kid thing is really putting a damper on my personal time :) Emmy is getting SO big!!! She's adorable! You will love your Sea World pass. We visited twice last year when we were in town (pays for itself after 1 visit) and Charlie loved it.
