Holidays 2023

It is always a little strange to go on a beach vacation and then jump right into Christmas but we did it! We came back from Mexico and jumped right into Christmas! I love the holidays and always try and make plans to we enjoy the whole season. We were busy!

Owen all dressed up for a special holiday picture at school!

Picture with fake santa at home depot. Hahaha

Brittany's annual ladies holiday party

I surprised the kids and took them Sea World one night and got a pic of them with real santa! Ahaha

Jammie day at school! I went and helped Owen's class decorate xmas cookies

Ryan joined a travel ball baseball team! He's hasn't wanted to be really liked the vibe of a team he played with one weekend. And best of all his buddy Zach is on the team!

Which means Owen gets to play with Jules :)

The DeWinter's xmas party theme this year was dress like your favorite xmas character. We just went as festive. Ha!

We checked out the botanical gardens in Encinitas one night for some forced family holiday fun!

It was really pretty! Not as cool as the botanical gardens in Denver though ;)

These two are ALWAYS snuggling!

Annual ice skating afternoon!

This year we went with the Brubakers and the boys' friend Dylan who was a very impressive ice skater

Christmas Eve brunch at the beach!

Had to squeeze in our Christmas cookie decoraing!

We (mostly Josh) were obsesses with puzzles this season

6a waiting to go downstairs

That joy!

Tired but full of love

Still puzzling! We completed 3 and are struggling with the 4th. We really upped our game to 1000 pieces!

Merry Christmas!

Bowling with he Fordes in PB

Laser tag in San Marcos with the boys

Whiffle ball at the high school with our 6 favorite families! How lucky are we all?!

Girls ducked out early on their bikes. The rode over 200 miles over break! So impressed with how they navigate, are responsible and are still having fun doing fun things like riding their bikes (yes, they do have to pedal) and playing cards while their batteries charge

New Years dinner out with the Prestons!

Kiddos partied at home until we got home at 8:30. It sure is a different world to not have to hire a babysitter!

Headed to the Julian's for the countdown and for a little karaoke! We didn't get home until 1a - party animals! Meanwhile, Emmy pulled an all-nighter at her friend's house. She said she never wanted to do that again. Haha

Happy New Year!
