I realize we are already into Fall and I am just now posting about summer but I think my future self would be mad at my present self for taking a break for such a long period of time. Time continues to FLY and as the kids get older and life and work gets more busier, it is harder and harder to find time to document memories but at the same time, I never want to forget them! So here goes my brief recap....
Ryan had an interesting All Star season this year full of coach and parent drama. Let's just say it was a memorable one!
Owen graduated kindergarten! Celebrated with a super cute performance
Last day of middle school for Emmy!
Last day of elementary school for Ryan!
Graduation day!
Last walk to school together - ever. Sniff, sniff
Emmy's graduation was first
Audrey, Emmy, Madison and Riley - BFFs since Spreckels :)
Onto Ry-guy!
Emmy almost immediately departed for her 8 day 8th grade trip to the East Coast! They went to Boston, NY, Philadelphia and DC. It was a wild trip and I was so proud of her for going and happy for all the memories she made alone the way
Father's Day at the beach
I was happy to be reminded that we actually had a few quiet days this past summer when we could actually hang at the bay and fly a kire. Rare but they happened!
We took a quick trip up to Westlake to see Julie, Dan and the boys!
After MUCH debate - we got Emmy and e-bike! She was so surprised and ecstatic! Emmy and her friends have gone everywhere from the beach to the mall to Encinitas and school! She earned that freedom and has been so responsible and seriously living the best life as a 14 year old!
Movie with the neighborhood crew
Owen loves getting crafty!
Despite the crappy weather, we made it to the beach a few times
Ryan joined a year-round basketball team - the UC Celtics!
Nana hosted Emmy and her gymnastics friends for a few nights :)
Me and the boys went to Dude Perfect Live!
Lots of Mr. As camp this summer but we squeezed in a baseball camp with the Brubakers
Our annual boat trip with our friends!
