COVID Halloween

We had a surprisingly "normal" Halloween this year. The Halloween spirit store was surprisingly still open this year and Owen got to dress up for school. We still got together on the Conklins on their driveway like we do every year with their two neighbors who we always trick-or-treat with. Their immediate neighbors actually approached them about having kids come for candy so Erin organized with 12 houses on their cul-de-sac for the kids to trick-or-treat. Ground rules for set, which varied for each house, and the kids got to hit up each house twice! It actually felt really normal and we all had a blast.

He was so excited to dress up for school!

Owen and his class at school :)

My inner pinterest came out and we organized some snacks and dessert for the party

We decorated about 40 cupcakes. Haha. At least it kept everyone entertained.

Owen's masterpiece

Owen insisted on dressing like Ryan and wanted to be a police officer. What the hell let the kid have some fun, right? So he got two costumes this  year :)

I usually hate dressing up, unless I am coordinated with me kids ;)

Emmy created a masterpiece with her cupcake. This girl is so creative!

We ended up with more candy than we usually have!

The next morning we went on a new hike and Owen insisted on wearing his police hat. Ha!
