Ryan's team won 1 game and lost 3. University City isn't exactly the most competitive league when it comes to sports but he had fun and played awesome. He even hit a home run! I am so proud of his commitment, focus, sportsmanship and talent. It is really impressive to watch him, the pictures don't do justice. He was the youngest kid on the team, as always, but you'd never know!
Emmy's team lost both games but they played their hearts out. There was a "bee" delay on Saturday so they STARTED playing at 9:30p and they finally called the game at 11p! It was ridiculous! Everyone was delirious, even the parents weren't keeping score right. Audrey slept over that night after the game and then were out the door by 7:45a for Ryan's game!
We celebrated father's day at the field with back-to-back games. Josh really is the best coach and so committed to the kids, it is so fun to watch.
So no more baseball and softball! Which is both exciting and a little sad. Emmy still has gymnastics 3 days a week but we will have our weekends free. Wahoo!!! Now we just need some sun.....
