Box
I treated me and Josh to a new comforter for my bday and paid way more than I normally do but it was worth it! It looks great in our room and it provided endless hours of entertainment :)

Father's Day Weekend
The kids had their last day of school last week. They both had such an awesome year! They came home with incredible report cards so I have to brag and announce they both got 4's (above grade level) for almost everything. Since Ryan is so young for his grade we considered holding him back - good thing we didn't! Jill came down for a few days so they got to hang with Grandma and then they went to the fair with a bunch of their friends. Between Thursday and Sunday they had 2 practices and 6 games between the two of them - it was crazy but so much fun!
Ryan's team won 1 game and lost 3. University City isn't exactly the most competitive league when it comes to sports but he had fun and played awesome. He even hit a home run! I am so proud of his commitment, focus, sportsmanship and talent. It is really impressive to watch him, the pictures don't do justice. He was the youngest kid on the team, as always, but you'd never know!
Emmy's team lost both games but they played their hearts out. There was a "bee" delay on Saturday so they STARTED playing at 9:30p and they finally called the game at 11p! It was ridiculous! Everyone was delirious, even the parents weren't keeping score right. Audrey slept over that night after the game and then were out the door by 7:45a for Ryan's game!
We celebrated father's day at the field with back-to-back games. Josh really is the best coach and so committed to the kids, it is so fun to watch.
So no more baseball and softball! Which is both exciting and a little sad. Emmy still has gymnastics 3 days a week but we will have our weekends free. Wahoo!!! Now we just need some sun.....

Weekend in Coronado
Last week Emmy played in a softball tournament in Coronado. We don't drive over the bridge often but every time we do, I am reminded of how cool it is! Owen and I drove out Friday night, I headed over early Saturday to also squeeze a run in and we all headed over together on Sunday. It was fun to cruise around FINALLY see some sun and Emmy's team finally won a game! Now they are 15-1. At least she has learned to be a good loser :)
The park helped us kill the 3 hours!
Owie met a friend
Sweet little guy
View from my morning run
Ryan is seriously the best big bro
Emmy was awarded MVP of the game! She made a really good play at short stop and got hit with the ball twice while up at bat. She shook it off and did not want to be taken out of the game. Go Monkey!
After the game Emmy went to her buddy Liam's bday party at the beach and then CRASHED on the couch :)

The Big 3-9
Holy crap - I am getting old! But somehow amidst all of our chaos I somehow managed to have a quiet birthday - it was the best! I hung on the couch with Buddy and watched TV, went for a run, did some cooking and laundry and it was the best day ever. Its amazing how a peaceful day at home these days is so uncommon!
Earlier in the weekend it was sports, sports, sports! Which is also very fun :)
Pictures do not justify how cute this baseball player is :)
He insists on wearing his jersey too. Ha!
He literally ate 2 hamburgers
I took this at 9p - after school, practice and a team party he just got home! And was so excited to show me his new baseball cards
Doesn't everyone watch TV and do the splits?! She is still loving gymnastics!
Watching the skaters at the skate park at 9a waiting for Emmy's game to start.
People literally ask if they are twins.
He watches so much baseball he plays and acts the part! Out there in his ready position smacking his gum - it is the greatest this to watch.
No words needed
End of the season! Off to All Stars!!
This is what 8 hours of baseball looks like
When he isn't playing, he's watching it
They got me in the action and made me wear a helmet. Ha!
These cuties :)
Could I be any luckier?!
