I've been reading a lot of old blog posts lately to remind me of what Ryan and Emmy were like at Owen's age. I am so glad I've documented so much! If anything, I wish I wrote more. It is amazing how fast time goes and how much I forget.
It is also cool to see how the kid's personalities started early and have continued that way. Ryan was always on the go, could play catch at 8 months, would eat anything, loved his blanket and his sister and was a huge snuggler. That is pretty much him in a nut shell these days!
He is really doing well at school. Both socially and academically. All of a sudden it is just clicking. I think having Emmy at school has made a huge difference for him. She is so good to him it really is amazing. She lets him follow her around and play with all her friends but I think he respects that and acts mature and doesn't bug her. It is so sweet to watch, I love it. Since he's learned from Emmy, he is so sweet with Owen. He is gentle and includes him when he is playing - even at 7 months! Watching them all interact is the greatest thing ever. I leave the two of them alone to play in Ryan's room (but of course have to swoop in for a few pictures!)
Even though Ryan is maturing and growing at rapid rates, he still loves blanket and snuggling! He's started coming in our room again, but not until 5:30a or 6. He sneaks up to me and whispers in my ear "Can I come snuggle with you?". I mean how can I say no to that?! They we have to "hug snuggle" until I get in the shower. I just hope he stays this sweet forever :)
A little lego time with Owen :)
