Weekend and lots of pics

We had a great weekend. It went by too fast, as always. We hung around the house, hit up a halloween party and went on a hike.

Owen is getting over a cold. Still. I figure he'll probably have one for the next 3 years!

Crazy hair day was last week.

Tough guys. Haha

These two have been OBSESSED with printing off coloring sheets and coloring. We are not very environmentally friendly these days...

Oh and Ryan learned how to play chest at their after school program :)

Happy dude! I used to describe Emmy as a professional sitter. And that is what this guy is too! Which is totally fine by me ;)

Josh and I both took Friday off of work (shhh don't tell the kids) and went to the bay for a long paddle board and lunch : )

Emmy practicing her "kips" after gymnastics

Naked boy!

Saturday night we went to Emmy's friend Seagrin's house for a party. Her family just moved around the corner from us.

Everything is more fun with three :)

Our little ninja!

We have a big family room with a big couch yet everyone still gathers in this tight little area every morning :)

There he goes coloring again!

First time in the outward facing carrier. I kept asking if he legs looked too tight. Haha

Sweet Ryan

I've been reading a lot of old blog posts lately to remind me of what Ryan and Emmy were like at Owen's age. I am so glad I've documented so much! If anything, I wish I wrote more. It is amazing how fast time goes and how much I forget.

It is also cool to see how the kid's personalities started early and have continued that way. Ryan was always on the go, could play catch at 8 months, would eat anything, loved his blanket and his sister and was a huge snuggler. That is pretty much him in a nut shell these days!

He is really doing well at school. Both socially and academically. All of a sudden it is just clicking. I think having Emmy at school has made a huge difference for him. She is so good to him it really is amazing. She lets him follow her around and play with all her friends but I think he respects that and acts mature and doesn't bug her. It is so sweet to watch, I love it. Since he's learned from Emmy, he is so sweet with Owen. He is gentle and includes him when he is playing - even at 7 months! Watching them all interact is the greatest thing ever. I leave the two of them alone to play in Ryan's room (but of course have to swoop in for a few pictures!)

Even though Ryan is maturing and growing at rapid rates, he still loves blanket and snuggling! He's started coming in our room again, but not until 5:30a or 6. He sneaks up to me and whispers in my ear "Can I come snuggle with you?". I mean how can I say no to that?! They we have to "hug snuggle" until I get in the shower. I just hope he stays this sweet forever :)

A little lego time with Owen :)

My work weeks

I took a few of these pictures one morning last week. Everyone follows me around the house in the morning, I always have someone by my side from the minute I wake up until the minute I get to work! But look how cute they all are? It is impossible not to stop and watch them. I mean look how cute they are? Its not wonder I am ALWAYS LATE.

Ryan went from crying every morning to wanting us to drop him off at the curb. He begs me to just drop him off every morning and he walks in with Emmy and usually some of her friends too. Look how big he looks?!

And then on to the end of my day which sometimes looks like this....

October

We actually had a Fall day on Friday. It rained and was cool, like 70 degrees all day. Wahoo! Not its 90 again...  Josh took the kids to trunk or treat at school and I hung out with Owen. We got bundled up to take Sadie for a walk. I can't wait until it is COLD! Saturday we did some errands, me and Emmy got our nails done and yesterday we went to the beach. If only the weekend was one day longer... :(

Ready to get some candy!

Boo is ready for some cold weather too :)

We watched some halloween movies - teen wolf is amazing! Haha

This pretty much sums up our house right now.

He's too tall for size 6 months but too fat for size 9 months. Not everyone grows up, some grow out :)

Beach!

Boy time

And for the greatest moment of the whole weekend - Josh's new halloween costume. We literally laughed all weekend long.
