What a week

 Record heat in San Diego again last week!  It was between 95 and 100 degrees all week, it was pretty brutal.  We ate a lot of Popsicles, played in water, had a lot of fans blowing and ate dinner out every night.  I shouldn't complain though we were hot but safe.  There about 6 fires burning in north county this week, it was terrible.  Almost every school was closed on Thursday, so we had a surprise day home with the kiddos.  Thank goodness for our friend Jamie's pool!  Today it dropped about 20 degrees so we could actually go to the beach :)

Ryan was crazy, I mean crazy in the water! He kept trying to jump in but he can only jump up not out so it was a little bit of a challenge.  He was so funny!

She not only likes to play in the sea weed but apparently loves to eat it too! Sea weed salad.  Mmmm

Emmy, Eva and her new little friend Teagan.  Emmy and Teagan played like they had known each other forever.  I just hope she makes friends as quickly when she starts school in the Fall...

Emmy got a boogie board!  And loved it! The three girls each had one - so cute.
