Mother's Day Weekend

WOW, we had a busy weekend. but fun! We kicked it off with the first neighborhood Friday night park night of the season. Despite that fact that it was 60 degrees and misting rain, 10 families showed to also celebrate Riley's bday. It was fun but FREEZING.

Saturday Emmy had her first softball game as an all star. She had two games - I caught one and Josh the other. They lost them both but everyone had fun which is the point :) Ryan had a game too, I literally caught his last hit from the parking lot with Owen asleep in the car. Sunday I celebrated Mother's Day back at the field to watching what was probably the most excited game Emmy's ever played in. Bad news is they lost (again) but good news is we were done by 1:30p instead of 5p ;) So what did we do that afternoon? Headed to the park to play baseball... Josh cooked us steak and lobster for dinner and I got spoiled with love all day. I am one lucky mama.

Park Night!

Always popular with the ladies :)

Happy birthday to Riley!

Kids soccer game

She was SOOO EXCITED!

Luci, Emmy and Audrey - the 3 amigos

The little guy is a trooper every weekend

No grass, lots of dirt = a dirty happy kid

One of my favorite moments of the weekend, snuggling with this little guy who was actually SUCKING HIS THUMB!

#14 Emmy the slugger Lawrence. Looooong story, not her choice but she sure was a trooper and cute wearing it :)

My Mothers day date at the game :)

Look at that lead off!

The girls went crazy at lunch after completing their first tournament

As if we didn't play enough baseball this weekend... I love that this is something that they share a love for. At the moment anyway

These 3 are my everything!

Busy Weekend!

I swear every minute of our weekends are accounted for these days! But we always seem to squeeze in some fun :)

Ryan had a late baseball game Friday night. They had a pot luck dinner before the 7p game. Poor kid didn't get home until 9:30p! Emmy of course tagged along and hung out with her buddies and me and Owen had a date at home. Emmy had softball from 9a-11:30a Saturday and then a birthday party sleep over at Riley's house. Ryan's game was from 1:30p-3:30p and yesterday we had NOTHING! The weather is beautiful so we've been spending lots of time outside :)

Emmy made the all start softball team. Go Emmy! So our life as we know it will be 100% softball for the next 8 weeks...

My handsome littlest dude

He loves connect four. Ha!

Any time we sit on the floor Sadie is in our faces.

My other handsome dude

And his biggest fan :)

Emmy and all her BFFs

We played in the sprinklers yesterday. Owen was in heaven of course

I LOVE SUMMER!

Buddies new haircut. We rode our bikes up to Sports Clips where he got his hair cut and requested a wash after which involved a head massage and hot towel. Ha! I wish I took pics.

This guy can walk (clearly) but still prefers to crawl or better yet be carried everywhere ;)

Fiesta de Mayo 2018

We celebrated our 4th Fiesta de Mayo this year and this time we had two kiddos to watch! Every grade level performs and there are games, food, etc. There are so many more kids at the school now so it was packed!

Ryan could not have been cuter, all of the kinders were since they aren't at the age of cooties yet :) Emmy loves to dance too. I know we are going to blink and Owen will be there too!

Could be be any cuter?!

Dancing with Reese :)

The older ones watching

This guy was a terror

Love these two and love that they are such good buddies still. For now anyway.... :)

Weekend

We had another busy but fun weekend! Now that softball is over we actually had a free Friday night. Wahoo! Ryan had a baseball game Saturday morning and then we went to the Santoros for dinner which is always a good time :) It was little league day at the Padres game so we were back at Petco Park and this time Owie came!

Owen met a sister of one of Ryan's teammates. It was amazing to watch how excited he was to see another "baby". He pretty much followed her around, tried to put his head on her shoulder and cried when she crawled away. It was the sweetest thing I have ever seen!

The crew reunited!

The kid plays hard and then crashes hard. Sometimes we forget he's only 5...

This time Josh got to go on the field with the team since he coaches

Cutest Padre ever

This was all I saw of Emmy - then she was off with her friends.

Owen decided he loved kettle corn!

Emmy's buddi Luci LOVES Owen

Thank God he still goes in the carrier...
