Last night was Spreckels Annual Fiesta de Mayo. Emmy loves wearing those skirts and dancing! Then it was followed by a had house of games and a late night!

Denver Weekend 2016!

 We thought we were well overdue for a trip to Denver so me and the kids took a quick trip this weekend to see the Santoros before they move to Europe for the summer (crazy!) and see Jules who actually had the weekend off (double crazy!). The kids played together like they always have, Emmy, Ryan and I fell in love with Emmett and I of course was happy to be able to chat with Anne in person instead of over text. We actually ventured out for a pedi while Noah looked after all 5 kids! Wahoo! We had so much fun, I can't wait to visit them again soon, wherever they are... :)

We drove out to Red Rock Amphitheater. It is so cool! It was freezing so we kept ourselves warm running back up the stair. Man am I out of shape.

My little travelers were AMAZING! We checked bags, got through security, rode the tram, got jammies on and teeth brushed (in the airport bathroom) in 35 minutes! The highlight was the moving sidewalk :) Can't wait to do some more traveling with these two!

This is a few weeks old but better late than never!!  Genesis and Daniel decided to spend their vacation in SD which means we get to vacation too! The kids haven't seen each other for a few years but picked up where they left off. They've had lots of fun together!

10 YEARS!

I can't believe how fast the last 10 years have gone. It seems like yesterday we were getting ready to walk down the isle! So much has changed in the last 10 years, we've upgraded from our dingy 2 bedroom apartment on Chalcedony Street to a house we own, we have 2 amazing kiddos and a crazy dog, we both have real adult jobs with lots of responsibility and we've earned some wrinkles and grey hairs. The last 10 years have been glorious and I feel very lucky to celebrate them with my partner in crime.

We actually escaped for a weekend away! There is no better place to vacation than San Diego so we headed 20 minutes up the coast to La Costa for a weekend of laziness. It was amazing :) Thanks to my mom for showing the kids so much fun Emmy looked disappointed when we came home!

Weekend Fun

Ryan and Emmy got some solo time this weekend and we pretended to be on vacation - again :)

Me and Emmy had a date night. We went to dinner and to see the new jungle book movie. She was so excited to go to a movie at night. We even had a little time to shop :)

Meanwhile, the boys went to a Padres game!

Yesterday we met some friends and their 4 boys at the Hilton Bayfront where they have a membership. Kinda nice to pretend to be on vacation once again :)
