Cousins!

Emmy and Ryan had a blast with their cousins, Grandma and Julie while I was out of town. Fortunately, I was still able to spend some time with Gena and Daniel and the kids when I got back from Denver.  Emmy and Julia were so cute together.  Sharing clothes, snuggling on the couch, they even had a sleep over! I think Emmy was really sad when she left.  Ryan just loved running around after the girls and Luke but I think it was a little hard for him to share Emmy with someone else :)  I took a few pics but am hoping Gena will share some more since I know she took a bunch and she is a great photographer!  Thanks for the great visit, looking forward to seeing you again soon!

Girls Weekend 2014

My mom, sister and I actually coordinated a girls weekend in Denver!  My mom and I had the idea to surprised Julie for her 30th.  Given her schedule a surprise was a bit too risky but she did so happen to have the entire weekend off (which never happens) so we booked flights and made it happen.  We ate a lot, drank a lot, shopped and squeezed in a hike and a few walks.  It was the perfect girls/30th bday weekend :)

Fathers Day Weekend 2014

Another amazing weekend in San Diego!  We had so much fun this weekend I didn't want it to end.  The weather was beautiful, the kiddos were great we had so much fun but were also able to relax.  I never imagined Emmy and Ryan would get along as well as they do right now.  They play, laugh and have so much fun.  Ryan won't get a snack without getting one for Emmy too and Emmy always wants to hang with him, snuggled and play.  I know it won't always be like this so I am loving it now.  Made for a great father's day weekend!  We went to the beach, hung out at home, ate, drank, the usual :)

Happy Fathers Day!  Emmy loves giving people presents and of course love drawing pictures to 

go along.  Ryan started to learn "Happy Birthday" after my birthday so he kept saying that yesterday :)

We headed to La Jolla Shores yesterday and it was beautiful! Don't know why we don't head there more often, it is so close to our house.  Lucky us!
