Summer!!!

This summer FLEW by! I can't even believe how fast it went, it is hard to remember what we even did! The sun came out late this year so we've been taking advantage of the beach and bay the last few weeks :)

Owen loved going kayaking with Ryan. "I go in the boat!"

Hand stands everywhere :)

We finally got the poor kid a bike!

My little monster

Looked who joined the club.... She has mixed feelings about them but has been wearing them in the class room which is great

More to come in another post but we are making a lot of changes to the house which includes getting rid of this 15 year old couch!

And more handstands right before this wall came down....

Me and buddy had a date night at the Padres game! Michelle and I took Greyson and Ryan to our office's box. So fun!

My handsome hubby

My boys

A little visitor at work one afternoon before our date night

Back to school haircuts! We took Owen to sports clips with Ryan

Look at that fro!

So handsome :)

Beach day!

More bay time!

Birthday weekend and Laser Tag

I don't know who had more fun at Ryan's laser tag birthday party - him or me and Josh! Two of his buddies couldn't make it so Josh and I were able to play and it was SO FUN! Ryan and his buddies were so cute and Emmy got to hang with her friends too. Owen hung out with my parents who came down for Ryan's birthday so happy campers all around :)

Saturday beach day. Unfortunately, it was pretty chilly!

Last night being 6!

Reunited with Quinn (who he proposed to his last year of preschool). Her sister Simone is on Emmy's gymnastics team so lucky for us we get to see them all the time again!

He is really into his bears right now :)

Birthday boy!

So much fun! We played two other teams and won the last game. Woot woot!

Playing with one of Rara's b-day presents

Happy birthday buddy!

Seven Years Old

By little dude, Buddy Baroo, Ry-Guy-a-rama is turning SEVEN! I keep telling him he needs to stay little forever and he keeps telling me that is impossible. We compromised and he agreed he will always snuggle me with - even when he is in college (or so he says. Haha). He continues to be the sweetest, most easy going little guy. He is constantly saying "its okay mommy", is the sweetest big brother in the world (even when Owen screams and hits him), adores Emmy, LOVES to snuggle morning, noon and night and is one of the most talented athletes I have seen, at such a young age. He is very smart, focused, patient, kind and strong - all of the things I could've asked for and more! I still remember driving to the hospital in the middle of the night 7 years ago after binge watching the Olympics. All he wanted to do was snuggle back then too! I hope he stays this sweet forever and all his sports dreams come true :)

As an early celebration for Ryan's birthday, we had a mommy/Buddy date at the zoo! :)
Sunday he is having a laser tag party with his buddies!

He was really into taking pictures of the animals during this trip. So he took these ones

Weekend in Pictures

Owen's new superman towel. He runs around naked yelling "Super Owie" and it is the cutest thing in the world. You Tube wouldn't let me upload naked videos!

Another beach day!

My handsome hubby

The super low tide make for amazing shell collecting!

Funny story about these shells. Emmy thought the were beautiful, but then learned there were things living in them (snails and clams).
I got home yesterday and Josh told me something died in the garage and that we'd probably have to clean it out this weekend to find whatever it is. And then it hit me - Emmy brought them home and the STUNK up the garage. Ahahaha

Ryan is OBSESSED with baseball. When he isn't playing he is watching games or highlights on YouTube. He had baseball camp last week and used some of his own money to buy a wooden bat. At first I said no because he isn't even allowed to use it playing little league. Then he agreed to pay for some and I found him hugging it the next morning. It meant that much to him. He carries it around and practicing swinging. He told me he wants to play baseball at UCLA so maybe I can save this and remind him one day ;)

He also now has a massive baseball card collection! Emmy helped him organize them :)

I would think most girls like to draw pictures of butterflies or unicorns or something. Not Emmy - she drew a golf course. Ahaha. She was at golf camp all last week and apparently hit a ball 250 yards!!

From the backyard. A beautiful way to end the weekend.
