School's out for Summer!

I can't believe another year flew by - just like that. Both kids had a great year, as always. End of year was full of performances, picnics and parties :)

What a stud. Ha!

Mrs. Alessio seriously is the best teacher our kids have ever had and likely ever will. So glad Ryan's first experience at Spreckels was with her.

Party at the park celebrating the summer bdays!

OMG these girls

Last day - sniff, sniff

Soon to be 4th graders!

Soon to be 1st graders!

Beautiful Weekend

Well, I am about a week late but am finally able to upload some pics from last weekend. We spent ALL weekend at Emmy's softball tournament. Fortunately, it was a beautiful weekend and the tournament was in Coronado! I fell in love with that little island, we had so much fun! We ate and drank with friends, Ryan played baseball for hours on end and Owen could cruise around. It was super fun. And Emmy got her first hit as an all star! The team has been struggling to hit. The other teams are on a whole other level. Some of these pitchers throw so fast we question that age. Ha! All in all, we had a great weekend :)

You could even see the bridge in the background!

101 ways to use the Bob stroller

We made a mid-day pit stop at the La Jolla YMCA pool . It is amazing! Owen LOVES the water.

This is how he spends his time at the games, digging through my bag

Because it isn't always rainbows and unicorns over here

Baby cankles are the best :)

I absolutely love this picture

Because 48 hours just wasn't enough...

Best birthday ever!!

I had the best birthday weekend ever! It took me a while to post about this because my amazing weekend was followed by a nasty stomach flu. Ugh!

I played hookie on Thursday and Josh and I headed to the beach to buy some new bikes! I've had mine since my 21st birthday. It was sad to let my red dyno glide but it was so rusty it was time. We bought bikes, cruised the board walk, got dinner and pretended like we were 21 again :)

Emmy had softball all weekend so Josh and I decided to get a sitter Friday night to get some dinner. He arranged the sitter, booked the restaurant and called an uber. Well, when we arrived downtown Anne, Noah, Michelle and John were there! It was the best surprise ever, I wanted to cry. We had food/drinks then headed to a comedy show. It was so much fun to hang out with my friends, without our kids, and have a night out.  I just hope we get to do it again SOON!

Emmy played a bunch of games over the weekend, I hit up a baby shower, met up with the Castle girls - lots of fun and laughs. BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!

Check out our new rides!

These two are the best - they make me laugh all the time :)

Look at us - out at 10p on a Friday. Wahoo!

Let's go UC Del Sol!

Ryan has a blast playing with his buddies. It was a perfect night

On. The. Move.

Cake at 9p

I haven't worked with these lovely ladies in almost 8 years but we still get together a few times a year and we will soon have 12 kids between all of us!

Superstar!

Ryan was superstar at the last assembly of the year. Everyone gets a turn to be superstar so I won't pretend like he was the only one. However, he was selected for being a good role model and his teacher Mrs. Alessio could not have said anything sweeter about him how he is a good leader, friend, student, etc. He is such an amazing little guy and it was so nice to hear other people see it too :)

Ryan and his buddy Lilianna (who happens to be the niece of my co-worker). She was the first friend he wanted to show his glasses too. So sweet!

Kit kat! I still think its hilarious that the school has a mascot

Greyson was superstar too!
