Maui 2018 - Part 2

After the first hotel, we checked into a condo in Kihei. It is a quieter little town with uninhabited beaches which I loved. The condo was perfect. Tons of grass between us and the beach and a pool! We got a few days of rain, quite a bit of wind but also some sunshine. So basically tropical weather ;) We hit up the aquarium, some different beaches, the pool and a plantation. We ate, drank, and went to bed super early!

Our home for 6 nights

Oh to have a backyard this big. The beach is just on the other side of those trees

This was the stormiest day we had in Kihei

Fortunately he learned pretty quickly that sand does not taste good. Ha!

Super cool aquarium!

O-man loved it

One of my favorite pics :)

Next day - SUN!

They'd did a hole and he would climb in it

This guy is a sand MONSTER

Even the cold shower didn't phase him

We ate at one restaurant Nalu's a few times. There were wild chickens everywhere but this morning there were families of them and a rooster. Owen went crazy every time he saw one

Feeding ducks at the plantation

We took a bus tour of the plantation, learned about trees and how to open a coconut. To my surprise the kids were fascinated! And then we got rained on again :)

My favorite part of the trip was hanging at the quiet beach at our condo.

We could not keep this guy out of the water!

Those two very small black dots are Emmy and Josh!

We ate every meal out here

Emmy looking for coral

We saw some cool stuff on the beach! This was the kids favorite

Lots of exploring

We drove to this cute town Paia one day and found this gem of a beach! I have more pics on my camera that I have to load onto my computer. It was beautiful!

Maui 2018 - Part 1

I still can't believe we were lucky enough to take the whole family to MAUI! We had the most amazing 10 days. Traveling with 3 kids (including a 1 year) made for some interesting moments but all in all everyone was good, great little travelers and we had an awesome time!

We woke up at 4:30a to catch our flight which wasn't as rough as the 6 hour flight over there with Owen climbing all over me the entire time! Emmy and Ryan are amazing - played on their ipads, together, chatted and never complained. We stayed the first weekend at the Hyatt in Kannapali. It had an awesome kids area for Owen and we quickly learned that we have another fearless fish in our family. He crawled head first into the pool, waves, water falls, slides, etc. Nothing phased him. Emmy kept saying everything was so beautiful:)  And Ryan ate his weight in shaved ice. Josh and I drank mai tai's and Owen ate our garnish. It was perfect :)

They had penguins in the lobby!

The benefit up being up at 4:30a? Josh got some amazing pics!

Owen loved the balcony

Beautiful girl with the boys in the back ground.
Since Owen was up at 4:30a and we were at the pool by 7:30a we got a good spot each day :)

We rented a cabana. Living the good life!

Buddy insisted on this Hawaiian shirt. So sweet :)

Happy Easter!

We left the Hyatt and hit up Lahaina on the way to our condo. Its s good think our kiddos love to shop as much as we do.

Entertainment :)
