Yosemite 2016

Last weekend we headed up Yosemite! It had been probably 3 years so we were well overdue for a trip. We ended up flying which saved us maybe an hour but a whole lot of head ache. An hour flight and 2 1/2 hour drive is easier than a 8-9 hour drive. Zach/Amy, Brittany/Gavin and Gena/Daniel all came and met us with the kids so we had a blast! It was 100 degrees to pretty toasty but we spent lots of time in water. We also got to spend lots of time with Josh's parents, grandparents and uncle which is always fun. It was a busy but super fun trip.

Day at the lake

More cousin time! It was especially fun since we all just saw each other.

Emmy kept saying over and over "Eisley is sooo cute". I couldn't agree more :)

I sat at the kids table for a little while. Conversation consisted of burps and farts - love it.

And I wonder where Emmy gets her adventurous spirit from. Josh launching off a rock into rainbow pools

Zach too!

Emmy opted for a smaller rock. She follows the boys around everywhere!

We took the pontoon boat our on the lake at the perfect time of night.

Dan let the kids drive the boat. I mean really drive the boat and few times I wanted to yell to take the steering wheel from them before we crashed!

So fun to jump off the boat and swim in the water :)

We made it into Yosemite one day (with a million other people) for a quick little hike.

Then we stopped for some lunch at a river. The kids loved it.

I have a million more pictures on my camera that I will hopefully post soon :)

We had a blast, hoping to make the trip again soon!

Happy 4th Birthday Little Buddy!

How has it already been 4 years?! It seems like yesterday I was sitting on the couch binge watching Olympics and here I am 4 years later doing that same thing. Except this time with my two kids, who also love the games. It is the best!

Ryan had a special day yesterday with just Josh and me. Emmy insisted on going to camp. We spent the day at Sea World and eating all kinds of candy and sweets. It was a fun day. Happy birthday to my sweet, sensitive, happy little guy. He is just the best and I love him more than he'll ever know.

Rescue Bots!!

We spent practically the whole day climbing up these nets

Only because it was his birthday...

This game was actually pretty cool. Like riding a real race motorcycle!

Lawrence Family Vacation

Last week Zach, Amy, Dylan and Elijah came to San Diego for the week and we had a BLAST! We hadn't seen each other for 3 years but it took only about 3 minutes for the kids to become bestest buddies. They stayed at Paradise Point so we could staycation with them. We went to the beach, hung at the bay, went to a soccer and baseball game, had a few sleep overs and ate a ton of junk food. It was a great week! It was so fun to watch all the kids play and get along so well and it was so nice to catch up with Zach and Amy. Hopefully we can do it more often.

Watching the Sonoma Sol play

They went on the field at half time. Ryan kicked the ball around with the boys and thought he was the coolest kid ever.

Lots of hanging

Lots of ipads. Dylan was so good with Ryan, he is amazing!

The crew on the way to the beach.

These 3 are definitely Lawrences!

Happy birthday Amy!

Emmy stayed at their hotel one night (her first sleep over!) and they stayed with us another night.

A day at the bay

Emmy was charging on the paddle board

Ryan kept his feet on land :)

Uncle of the year Josh rented a jet ski!

Everyone took rides around the bay (except Ryan).

Mud soup. Gross.

The four amigos on the way to a Padres game

We successfully took 4 kids to a baseball game :)

Ryan was such a trooper. No nap, up until 10p and no breakdowns. He is still recovering...

And Sadie turned one! We gave her a new "indestructible" toy as a present that she destroyed in about 6 minutes. Oh Sadie..
