A Memorable Padres Season

Never in a million years would I have guessed that I'd find myself watching a baseball game, willingly, alone. Ryan and Josh have projected their love of baseball onto me and now I am hooked! This was the first season since 1998 (ironically my first year in SD) that they have made it this far in the playoffs. Our family and all of San Diego have been routing them on. Since San Diego isn't really a big sports city, it has given us a glimpse into what a sports community is like.

Josh and Ryan were lucky enough to watch the Padres beat the Dodgers to win the National League Divisional Round (I just had to ask them to confirm the name - ha!) in San Diego. Josh not only scored some tickets through work, but they were in the home plate club - an experience of a lifetime! I watched on the couch - alone - and almost had tears in my eyes as I watched all the fans celebrate, in the RAIN! They lost today but what a special moment for those boys, I am so happy they will have that memory forever!

All you can eat crab!

And dessert!

He met the owner of the Padres and got his autograph.

And he bumped into Preston and Joe!

Ryan met his favorite you tuber - Faze rug. AHAHA.

Padres WON! One of my favorite pictures of all time.
