Early Christmas

 Since mom and dad headed to Denver for Christmas, we had an early Christmas in San Diego. We surprised them and took them to the Grinch! Owen and Josh had never been either so it was a fun way to kick off the holiday season :)

Denver!

 I took a quick but super fun trip to Denver - alone! It was so fun to spend some time with Marc/Kristen, Julie/Dan but most importantly Ronan and Ferne :) The weather was perfect so we got lots of beautiful walks in and ate/drank lots :)

Marc got us tickets to the botanic Gardens lights. It was amazing!

Marc and Kristen got their boosters which meant I got to hang with this cutie 

A nice little bike ride around Washington Park. It was a really great weekend!

Thanksgiving 2021

 This year we had a mellow yet busy Thanksgiving week/weekend. The kids were off school but I had to work. We spent actual Thanksgiving alone - just the 5 of us - but then attended a 3 day baseball tournament.  Emmy's social schedule is in full force so me and the boys spent lots of quality time together, enjoying the beautiful weather and extra long weekend :)

Kicked the week off with dinner out - at a restaurant!

The sunshine tax is worth it :)

Now we can add fireman helmet to the collection after Owen walked into the station yelling "John" to see if our friend was working. 

I didn't take many pics at Thanksgiving this year :( i will make up for it at xmas!

Ryan is always up for a good board game

I hate ipads but they sure do love playing together which makes me happy 

Ryan played in his first tournament! 4 games over 3 days. It was the first time the boys had played together on a team so it took some time to get into the grove but they improved a lot and didn't end up in last place ;) 

One inning he only threw 6 pitches and the inning was over - definitely the highlight of the game

Also Josh's number growing up :)

We made a very quick switch to CHRISTMAS!

There were literally no trees, it was so weird

Josh went a little Clark Griswold this year and took no less than 4 trips to home depot for lights

I ended the weekend with a day off! ResMed had a global self care day so I went for a run on the bay :)
