Our friend Mark picked us up Sunday morning and took us to the airport for a 10a flight. We boarded, flew to Cabo, circled for 20 minutes and were then diverted to Puerto Vallarta. After sitting on the runway for 45 minutes we were cleared to go back to Cabo and once we made it back, we were diverted BACK TO SAN DIEGO. So what should have been a 2 hour flight turned into a 7.5 hour flight and we landed back where we started. Owen got off the plane and yelled "we are in Cabo!". Hahaha. We all did a good job of keeping our cool and having fun because these are the kind of moments that define you right? After a few hours of haggling at the airport, we grabbed a cheap hotel across from the airport and then got on a flight the next morning. 24 hours later we finally arrived and it was worth every second!
Our hotel room was absolutely amazing with the best view of the most beautiful beach. We logged 8-10 hours a day in the pool, ate, drank, laughed and just spent time together. The kids played together all day long! They played bingo and ping pong and movie trivia in the pool. They even went to a cooking class! Owen walked around like he owned the joint - everyone loved him. We'd walk by and at least someone would yell " Owen!". It was really hard to leave but reminded me of why vacations are so important and how lucky I am to have the most amazing family ever!
And we are off!

But this guy thinks we are in Cabo! We had a nice little Frisbee game in the airport. Hahaha
