Proud Mama

This weekend was all about sports! After taking a few months off, it was actually fun to be watching some games again. And everyone is happy to hang with all of their friends on the field again. Ryan is playing soccer and baseball right now! Sadly, Emmy wasn't able to play soccer this year (long story due to terrible coordination of the league) so she was pretty bummed but at least she has gymnastics...

It was HOT on Saturday but Ryan had fun and even scored a goal! We all celebrated with snow cones :)

Sunday Ryan had his first baseball game on the minors team. It is a step up from his last division and he is playing Fall ball so he can get used to it in a less competitive environment because he is the youngest again. Well, not only did Ryan get to pitch - he did amazing! He threw some balls but a lot of strikes too. He looked so confident and calm and collected up there on the mound - I was so unbelievably proud of him! Just to get up there are try is amazing and to do great was that much sweeter. Then he followed it up with a home run! This kid just amazes me. The best part - he just has fun - he never celebrates and gloats so I do it for him :)

Back to School in the Heat!

The kiddos headed back to school a few weeks ago, right when the temps started heating up! They are happy to be back at school with their friends and we spent some time indoors staying cool :)

Summer!!!

This summer FLEW by! I can't even believe how fast it went, it is hard to remember what we even did! The sun came out late this year so we've been taking advantage of the beach and bay the last few weeks :)
