Fall in San Diego

We had no plans this weekend which is the best kind of weekend sometimes :) We were lazy but still got out to enjoy the weather. September can be an amazing month in SD! It is so pretty, warm, not crowded, etc., etc. :) We rode scooters at the beach and went to sushi and Sunday we went to a new park to watch the air show. We all had so much fun.

Fall in San Diego. Not too shabby ;)

The kids are getting more adventurous. In addition to their cucumber rolls and seaweed salad, they both ate tempura shrimp and cooked scallops and tried California rolls which they weren't huge fans of. Emmy ate sashimi the other day after our friend Todd brought over some fish he caught. She loved it and didn't realize it was raw fish until after she ate it all! Think we need to order her the real stuff next time :)

Happy as can be, as always :)

Playing legos with Ry-guy. Ha! This face is too funny.  He reminds me of my papa in this picture...

Sunday park day! Josh showing off his soccer skills in the background.

These two ADORE each other.

Like father like son. Haha

My perfect little family :)

Weekend

Another weekend came and went. I wish they'd slow down a bit. Our weeks have been busy, everyone has been tired, so we were a bit lazy this weekend and it was amazing! We did manage to squeeze in a quick trip to the ice skating rink for a school fundraiser. We went last year too - so fun! Now that Emmy has done ice skating summer camp 3 summers in a row and been a handful of times throughout the year she is getting good!

A whole lot of pics from the weekend

Could he be any cuter?! I don't think so :)

AMAZING! :)

Owen cut his first tooth!

Owen's new favorite thing to do is sit in front of his basket of toys. Emmy used to do the same thing. I love it

Everyone got in on the action! I continue to be amazed by how much they adore Owen and how patient they are with him all the time.

So much to love :)

Ice Skating! It took Ryan about an hour to finally get his balance. haha

Emmy, Riley and Luci

The whole crew

Sunday lazy day! This rarely happens

Ryan is such a good big bro. I could just watch them all day long.

Half Birthday

Owen (aka O-man, Owie, Boo, Booser) is officially 6 months old! He is full of personality these days - smiles at everyone, laughs easily, loves to play with toys, is content just chilling just about anywhere, is infatuated with Emmy and Ryan, is curious about Sadie and still doesn't sleep. It really is amazing that the little stinker can wake up every 1.5 hours on the dot, like clock work, and still wake up as happy as can be in the morning.

He is doing really well at daycare, he's just happy! Everyone loves him as he sits there as chubby as can be just smiling at them all. He seems to love being next to other babies and definitely has some favorite teachers already.

I love watching him interact with the kids. His face absolutely lights up when they are around. He watched them as if he is really listening to them talk about their days and he chats back as if he is telling them about his. He honestly smiles all the time like he wants to show you he is always having fun. He loves to give kisses and it is the sweetest thing ever. I just love him so much and am so grateful that he is part of our family.

Last weekend I sat him in front of the mirror and he just played and played. He is the cutest!

San Diego Summer

The sun is out, the tourists are gone, our summer has begun! We finally made it down to the bay for a full day. Played around the house and pretty much tried to enjoy every second of our weekend :)

Playing with his basket of toys :)

Just chillin like he always does :)

The crew off to explore

There was a paddle board yoga class going on so of course Emmy had to show off her moves!

We pulled out Ryan's race track and it was a hit with everyone! :)

Ryan gave him one of his race cars to play with :)

Back to the grind. Homework time.
