Busy Weekend

We had yet another busy but fun weekend! Friday night we rode our bikes up to Clairemont Square for dinner. Ryan is a mad man on his bike these days. I swear his training wheels are going to come flying off his bike (for the second time) he even launched off a curb! I think we need to teach him to ride a bike...
Saturday we gardened (again) hit up the Clairemont pool and went to a new Cohen restaurant for dinner. Sunday we hit up the beach and the Brittany and the kids were in town so came over to play and for dinner. It is so fun having cousins around!
I am beat, is it Friday yet??

Poor Sadie is not enjoying the summer, she is always looking for shade!

Emmy and Ryan were crazy at the beach with their boogie boards. Emmy goes really far out and tackles big waves and Ryan was trying to "surf". They both ate is hard a few times so may be a little more cautious moving forward...

Slip and Slide time!

Nixon, Ryan, Eisley and Emmy had so much fun together! I sure wished they lived closer :)

I little after dinner wrestling match!

4th of July Weekend

We took a much needed trip of to Westlake to celebrate the holiday with my parents in their beautiful backyard. Sadie made the trip too, which we were all a little nervous about, but she behaved. She may even be allowed back again :) The weekend was full of food, drink, sun and pool!

Hip Hop Performance - take 2

Emmy's dance class performed at the fair on Tuesday. Most people know I hate fairs. I've lived in SD for almost 18 years and have somehow  managed to avoid the fair for that many years. Now we had an excuse to go so I took the day off of work and proceeded to get rear-ended on the way there and spent a mini fortune on gross food and games. Phew! It was fun to see the kids having so much fun but I hope this doesn't become an annual thing ;)

Emmy had another amazing dance performance! So proud of her :)

Bumper cars wasn't exactly the smartest choice after being rear-ended on the freeway.

Emmy declined the sparkly, purple unicorn and chose the stuffed poop.

They flew in the sky laying on this thing with no straps! I've never been so nervous.
