10 YEARS!

I can't believe how fast the last 10 years have gone. It seems like yesterday we were getting ready to walk down the isle! So much has changed in the last 10 years, we've upgraded from our dingy 2 bedroom apartment on Chalcedony Street to a house we own, we have 2 amazing kiddos and a crazy dog, we both have real adult jobs with lots of responsibility and we've earned some wrinkles and grey hairs. The last 10 years have been glorious and I feel very lucky to celebrate them with my partner in crime.

We actually escaped for a weekend away! There is no better place to vacation than San Diego so we headed 20 minutes up the coast to La Costa for a weekend of laziness. It was amazing :) Thanks to my mom for showing the kids so much fun Emmy looked disappointed when we came home!

Weekend Fun

Ryan and Emmy got some solo time this weekend and we pretended to be on vacation - again :)

Me and Emmy had a date night. We went to dinner and to see the new jungle book movie. She was so excited to go to a movie at night. We even had a little time to shop :)

Meanwhile, the boys went to a Padres game!

Yesterday we met some friends and their 4 boys at the Hilton Bayfront where they have a membership. Kinda nice to pretend to be on vacation once again :)

A few things we've been busy with...

We've been trying to keep the vacation spirit going with lots of trips to the beach and bay. We took Sadie to Fiesta Island. She LOVED it!

 

 We've been hiking a lot with her too. Nice little family adventure :)

We are still working on getting her more comfortable in the car..

 Ryan literally rode his bike to the ground, the thing fell apart so we got him a new one. He's been bombing down the hills around our house as I yell for him to stop like some crazy person. "But mom I have a race care bike and it goes really fast".

After we got back from the boat we went to a fiesta! It was so fun. We met a family from Ohio and we hung out with them.

They had all kinds of contests - it was hilarious
