Summer!

We're finally getting some sun, have been hitting the beach, so now it feels like summer :) Emmy had a week off from camp last week so my mom came down to hang out with her. She has turned into quite the little shopper and that was all she wanted to do! She also got a new boogie board so her and Josh were in the water Friday - Sunday, catching waves together. Ryan had his first school friend bday party at Holden's house. It is so fun watching him play with his buddies, such a little dude. Today I got to go on a field trip with Ryan's class - to the beach!  It was so awesome and crazy with 12 three year olds in the ocean, but a BLAST! All is all, we are getting some sun, hanging at the beach, keeping crazy busy and having fun!

Josh and I actually got to go on a date night when my mom was here :)

What a weekend!

We had rain last weekend!  A lot of it!  And thunder and lightning too!  It was pretty fun. Emmy loved it the thunder storm, Ryan not so much. We played out in the rain, collected water (save the water!) and had another busy but fun weekend.

I am sort of embarrassed to say but this was Ryan's FIRST game!

Sunday we hit up the community pool because it was so hot at our house.  Twenty minutes after we got there, there was a downpour!  Doesn't stop our little fish

I had Monday off to make up for some crazy long work days I had the week before so we went to the science center.  We had a blast!

4th of July Weekend

We had an awesome 4th of July weekend, the Santoros were in town!  We ate, drank, played and were  busy the whole weekend it was a blast.

These two LOVE the water! Emmy ended up going out further and a seal swam right next to her. It was so cool! I didn't get a picture but I will never forget the look of excitement on her face. The seal was big and just cruised up next to her looking to play.

Can't wait to do it again next year!!
