Toothless Wonder

Emmy has lost yet another tooth!  We spent Sunday wiggling, yanking and twisting to get it out. Emmy finally yanked it out herself. :)

Camping!

We took our first camping trip as a family this weekend! We pulled out our 2 person tent for the first time in 15 years, spent hours packing up the car, leaving not an inch of space, drove 20 miles up the 5 to Carlsbad to camp with some friends, and are home 22 hours later. We all had a blast hanging with the Smith's and some of their friends!

Pretty stoked to be in the camper which he calls "tent on wheels" like in Curious George goes camping, the book we read EVERY night before bed :)

School's out for summer!

Jill came down to hang out with Emmy during her first week of school, before camp starts.  They had a blast!  Jill spoiled her rotten with shopping, playing, eating treats, etc.  Unfortunately, I wasn't around too much so only got one picture her last night. Camp Grandma!

Last Day of School

Monday was Emmy last day of kindergarten. CRAZY! She had a rocky start to the year but ended so strong and happy.  She has a ton of friends, seems super comfortable at the big school and is really excelling at school  She can read whole books, no problem, it is quite impressive :)  Her class had a little performance the last day. The sang a ton of song again, so cute.

Quick getaway

We decided to take a last minute trip to Palm Springs last weekend.  We figured it was probably the last weekend we could go before it got too crazy hot.  We packed light, hopped in the car and drove to the desert for the night.  As usual, we could not get the kids out of the pool!

We bought these super cool jet skies from CVS last week.  Every kid in the pool wanted to play with it.  I thought Ryan was going to loose it a few times.  too much sharing!

Emmy met a friend whose name was Emmy Ryan.  Seriously?! What are the chances.  I think they went on the slide like 100 times. 

 It took him a whole day but to my surprise Ryan wanted to go too! He is nowhere near as adventurous as Emmy but is still willing to give things a try. :) He loved it!!
