We had another great weekend that started out with a performance at Emmy's school, included a visit from my parents and Lucy, we had a little rain and ended at the beach!

Nine Years!

I cannot believe it has been 9 years since our beautiful wedding at the Dana in Mission Beach. Time flies when you are having fun! I am one lucky lady :)

Josh and I spent 6 glorious hours along with no kids!  We went paddle boarding, had some drinks and ate dinner with only adult conversation.  Best Saturday ever!

Uncle Marc!

Marc made a pit stop in San Diego on his way to LA for a job. My amazing brother and uncle extraordinaire was not only fun but a huge help all weekend!  He looked after Ryan all day and babysat while Josh and I had some time away.  He is so amazing with the kids and for someone who isn't around kids often, he made me question me parenting skills!

Someone was happy that Marc was here

Water balloons.  Both the best and worst purchase I've made.

The kids are totally into hiking these days.

I wonder what they were talking about...

Tractors are still at the beach!

Chickens!

Lunch date

Today was Ryan's annual kidney ultrasound and check-up.  I decided to make an afternoon of it and used some sick time to hang with my little man this afternoon.  It was exactly what I needed.  We ate lunch, played and had nothing but time to kill waiting for each appointment.  I never have time to kill, i always have to be somewhere doing something so I enjoyed every minute with my little buddy. I surprised him and picked him up at lunch.  He just kept hugging me - it was the best. He was so good at the appointments too.  Giggling away during the ultrasound "it tickles mommy!" :)

Fish shop for lunch - our favorite!

We sat at the window and just watched the trucks and cars drive by.

We chased some birds at the bay

And ate M&Ms that we picked up at 7-11 :)

We sat in a window sill at the hospital and just watched some tractors. Highlight of our day!
If you ever need a reality check and a reminder of how great life is - visit a children's hospital.  I spend a lot of time in hospitals but there is nothing like seeing sick kids in the hospital, it breaks my heart.

We sat and watched cars drive on the freeway from the parking garage.  This kid is easy to please!

Spring Break 2015

Last week Emmy had her first spring break!  Thank goodness Josh returned back from his trip to South America just in time to help make it a fun week.  We were busy!

A new italian ice place opened up down the street.  We hit up Rita's almost every day!

We had movie night a few nights

We went to the beach!!

Might be my favorite picture ever :)

We played basketball.

He is such a boy!

We played in the tent

Ate lollipops on a hike

Ryan went to school a few days so we could spend some time with Emmy.  We got all fancied up and went to lunch.  She was so proud of her side pony tail.

We went to C-level for lunch :)

I thought she'd love being home alone but I think she just really missed Ryan.

Tractors + the beach = heaven

We went to McDonalds for the first time - ever (seriously, I can't believe we've never taken either of them)!  We went through the drive through for sundaes!

We played on the slip and slide

Not sure who had more fun

I eventually had to go to work so Emmy had a few daddy days.
And her taught her how to skateboard!

Ice cream cone as big as her head.  Ice cream was definitely a theme last week ;)

Until next year!
