Ryan!

Sometimes I wish I could just freeze time.  Right now.  Ryan is the best!  He is at that age when he can do so much by himself, his speech is amazing, and he has no inhibitions so he says everything.  He is so sweet, loving and funny!  A few things recently:

The other day he spotted our wedding picture.  He asked if that was me and daddy (geez, I must look worse than I thought if he had to ask if it was me!). I said yes and he said “mommy you are a princess!”

They must be talking a lot about emotions at school because he often tells me when he is happy, angry or sad.  When he looks at me and days “Mommy, I am so happy!” it is the best thing ever.

The other day when he was mad about something he said “Mommy Andrew!”.  He has no idea Andrew is his middle name, he just thinks you tag it on to the end of a name when you are mad.  Ha!

One of my favorites is “I can’t not do that” .Not "can't" or "not" "can't not".

Last weekend we were all in our bed in the morning.  Emmy said “Ryan go wrestle with Daddy”. He laid next to him and started whistling.  That is my sweet boy!

Weekend with Grandma and Grandpa

This is coming a week late but better late than never!  We had a great weekend last weekend with Josh's parents to drove down to hang with us for the weekend.  It was hot, sunny and it totally gave me summer fever!  We played in the pool and at the beach and had lots of fun. Jill always comes with lots of games to keep the kiddos busy :)

This has been my week

Everyone got hit with the stomach flu AGAIN! I don't know how, but I dodged it.  Probably because I knew I had to. Today is the first day everyone is back at school/work since February 24th.  Let's hope we stay healthy for a while!

More fun in the snow!

The Santoros and Jules met us in Breckenridge Friday night.  The place we rented was awesome!  We were super brave and took all 4 kids skiing at Copper.  Anne and I thought for a minute we could go too but realized quickly that wasn't going to happen.  Instead we let Josh, Noah and Julie go and we wrangled 4 sets of skis and 5 kids for the afternoon. Yikes. Fortunately, we found a kids area for them to play!

We had such an awesome time in Colorado and can't wait to do it again!  We were so lucky Julie was able to actually get two days off in a row :) Thank you to the Santoro's for letting us stay at your house and for all the fun times. We miss you already!
