Emmy's first Christmas Performance

Emmy, along with the other kindergarten classes performed 6 holiday songs! They were so cute to watch :)

Pre-holiday fun!

The month of December flew by as I am sure it did for everyone else!  We tried to do some fun things to celebrate the holidays throughout the month.

Emmy and I went to see her best friend Lia perform in the nutcracker.

Hit up Home Depot for our tree

Lots of helpers this year :)

The Hanlons rented a huge party bus for everyone to ride and check out the lights in all the top neighborhoods.  It was a blast!!

Always time for some wrestling :)

This year we decided to adopt a family and buy gifts for a mother and her kids who don't have anything.  I am trying to teach Emmy about giving during the holiday season and it is someone I've always wanted to do.  It was a lot of work but so worth it.

Santa was at the drop off location! Emmy would go near him and Ryan just clung to me. I ain't going to lie, it is weird to sit on an old guys lap.

Me and the kids hit up the mall one day so Emmy could deliver her list to Santa.  She basically threw her list at him and kept going.  They rode the train instead :)

they are totally loving hot chocolate these days.  I guess one way to get dairy into Emmy!

My beauty :)

Thanksgiving 2014

Wow, it really has been a while!  The last few weeks have been a blur. It all started with the stomach flu that blew through our house hitting us one at a time like some sick game of survival of the fittest.  I have never seen so many family members throw up as much as the weekend before Thanksgiving. We had a nice, quiet Thanksgiving up at my parent's house which was a nice way to nurse us back to health. We ended the weekend with a going away party for the Santoros who moved to Denver last week. They have many exciting adventures to come but I sure do miss seeing my best friend everyday :( And Ryan misses Sophia already!

This is how you spend Thanksgiving in Southern California :)

Buddies reunited!

Nana had some help with the turkey this year...

 My cuties :)

So Emmy

We decided to take a hike and my parents didn't take it easy on us! Up hill all the way.

The good old Promenade decorated for xmas

Getting ready for the big party and making signs. Sniff, sniff.
