Directorial Debut!!

Family Weekend

This weekend we took a quick trip up to Westlake to see Marc!  He was in town for another quick trip - lucky us :)  The kids just adore him so it is awesome we've been able to see him so much recently.

It's been a while

I know, I know, I haven't posted anything for a while! I've had issues getting pictures from my camera to my computer, Ryan was really sick and we've just been busy I guess.  Poor little guy got hand foot and mouth disease which I would not wish on my worst enemy.  First was the 103 degree fever, then came the blisters in his mouth.  He didn't eat or drink anything for 24 hours and woke up every 45 minutes crying because he was in so much pain.  Once he finally could drink water, he drank so much in the middle of the night he puked all over me and my bed!  The last few days he just looks like a 17 year old teenager with really bad acne.  I've taken pictures these past few weeks (of course) but also a few cute videos so I thought I'd start there. You probably can only view them on a computer but they are so cute!  I know, I need to start uploading them to YouTube.  Maybe one day.  In the meantime, enjoy and pictures to come soon!

Rainy Weekend!

We FINALLY had a rainy weekend and it has been glorious!  I don't think Ryan has ever really seen rain (that he remembers) so it totally loving it.  He just stares out the window yelling "wawa!".  Emmy has been singing "its raining, its pouring!".  I haven't left the house all weekend and am still in my PJs.  The BEST!

Emmy is Reading!

Last week Emmy officially read her first book, by herself.  Between her sight words from school and sounding out each word, she read the whole Biscuit book by herself and was so proud!  She also read the note my brother wrote her for her birthday.  She is always so surprised when she does it is so cute.
